I'm a Lyons native who graduated from Lyons back when there wasn't a 2nd gym, "Jet" Johnson taught 8th-grade History class, 2nd Ave went straight to "Lyons Jr-Sr High" (not a house in sight) and a sharp #2 pencil was needed to fill in the circles on the dreaded mandatory testing sheet. While away, the town and Lyons Middle/Senior High went through some changes. I came back to my family's homestead in 2012 to help my aging parents and to give our kids what I grew up with: fresh air and roots. I got involved with Booster Club in 2013 to help with concessions shopping and stayed on the concessions team all these years. With so many years of Booster Club history, I was honored to step into the President role to help see Booster continue on its path of support for each and every student at Lyons.
Our family moved to Lyons from the East Coast last year, and we have been overwhelmed by the community's energy, creativity, and support of its public schools! I previously served as treasurer and president of our kids' elementary school PTA in Maryland. I now have a son in 7th grade at Lyons Middle/Senior and a daughter in 5th at Lyons Elementary. I am very much looking forward to supporting the staff and students at Lyons Middle/Senior High through this fantastic Booster Club, and hope to meet many new neighbors along the way.
It has been such a joy learning how much Booster Club helps our students in so many ways through taking our meeting minutes each month! Booster Club impacts students in athletics, the performing arts, and they also support students in academic classrooms. I have been teaching at Lyons since 2019, and I cannot tell you how lucky we are to have a Booster Club that cares about each and every student at our school. I feel so blessed to be a part of such an amazing community!
We're adding a detail-oriented leader who will work closely with our fundraising committee to oversee planning & events starting in 2024. This is a great position to get to know Lyons Lions families while making a positive impact!
Contact president, Audra Felt, if you're interested.
It takes a village! Join our amazing team and put your talent to work for our Lyons Middle/Senior High students.
Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of every month in the school library.
Everyone is always welcome!

I've been active in Booster Club since 2014 with five students at Lyons Middle/Senior High School through the years. I've served on the After Prom committee since 2017 and currently manage communications as well as lead the Lions Pride Pledge, our inaugural fundraising campaign for the 23-24 school year. I'm honored to use my 30 years of experience leading national advertising agencies and working closely with clients such as GE, Liberty Mutual, Chili's, Marriott, and many other well-known brands to support our students through Booster Club! When I'm not working on LLBC communications, you'll probably find me at a football game or at 9500' under the San Juan aspens.
I am a Canadian-born (Montreal), Southern-raised (TN), Wild-West transplant who was lucky to land in Lyons a little over 17 years ago with my husband and son, who after growing up through Lyons schools, is now a Senior! I am a graphic designer and creative director with my own local business. After designing the yearbook and serving on the Lyons Elementary PTO for years, I have worked concessions and served on both the After Prom and Communications committees for the Booster Club. When you see me out on the trails, I’ll likely have my two bearded spirit animals, German Wirehair Pointers – Julep the Bearded Lady & a boy named Sioux! Our family loves skiing, river sports, backpacking, fly fishing, hiking and more – all things outdoors in Colorado and beyond!
My husband and I moved to Lyons 15 years ago to raise our family. I’m originally from Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois (Go Illini!!) with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. I lived and worked in Chicago for a few years after college but married and moved to Colorado 19 years ago. I’ve been a substitute teacher in the St. Vrain School District for the last 18 years. I’ve volunteered on the boards of the Lyons Elementary PTO and the Lyons Lions Booster Club over the past 10 years. My son, Jack, is a senior and my daughter, Anna, is a sophomore at Lyons Middle Senior. I’m currently Team Concessions and can be found shopping at Sam’s Club, stocking the concession stands, taking inventory, warming up pretzels, or cleaning up. Stop by and say hi!

Assistant Principal/Athletic Director
I started working in the SVVSD in 2016 and have worked at Lyons Middle Senior for the past three years. I love the involvement of the students, staff and community. Lyons is truly a family! I’m passionate about providing students with opportunities to develop character, academic, and athletic skills inside and outside the classroom. It’s important to me to help all students find their passion and support them as they pursue their interests and goals.
Dean of Students
This is my first year in the SVVSD school district and I am very excited to be here! I just moved to Longmont and am exploring the area and all it has to offer. I have taught 5 years of Middle School in Englewood Schools and 7 years of High School in Jeffco Schools. I am passionate about developing relationships and helping students discover their voice and passions. I love to be involved in the community that I am in and inspiring others to do the same. I will be leading the High School Student Council group this year and look forward to learning all the wonderful traditions in the Lyons community!
